Realized generally with an obscura camera, photography is characterized by the use of a large variety of photosensitive agents and by the variety of exploited supports. From the beginning of the XIX°s, photography was the result of multiple processes which testify of sometimes vain technological quest, perfectly calculated commercial stakes and always precise esthetic expectations. From metallic plate used by Daguerre as support of a positive image obtained directly in a dark room to images realized with a mobile phone and displayed on a PC screen, the photographic heritage present itself with multiple forms.
